There’s something special about life on the Chesapeake Bay.The salty breeze. The slower pace. The boats on the water. And, of course, the Chesapeake Blue Crab.

That way of life inspired Jimmy and Sook.Our name comes directly from Chesapeake Bay watermen. A “Jimmy” is a male Blue Crab. A “Sook” is a female. It’s a name that celebrates the hardworking watermen, colorful characters, and traditions of the Chesapeake Bay, the place where our story began.

Jimmy and Sook launched on July 4, 2008, with a simple idea: create comfortable, quality clothing inspired by the relaxed lifestyle of the Bay. At the center of the brand is our trademark embroidered Blue Crab. Over the years, that little crab has appeared on thousands of polos, performance shirts, T-shirts, hats, belts, outerwear and more.

But Jimmy and Sook has never been about chasing fashion trends. We make clothing that feels like an old friend. Comfortable, dependable and ready for a day on the boat, a weekend away or dinner by the water.

Today, our collections continue to change with the seasons while staying true to the place and lifestyle that inspired us. The Chesapeake Bay is more than where Jimmy and Sook began.
